The team from the University of Aberdeen contributes over 20 years of experience in behavioural and physiological recording and has assembled a wide array of project relevant set-ups. We will contribute significant numbers of data sets to the analysis of historical data (WP2) and their curation (WP8). In addition, the group will play an integral part in the design and conduct of experimental work for the development, refinement and harmonization of Ring-Testing throughout the project (WP4) and will be involved in the hands-on performance of all experimental tests that have been put forward for this work package. In addition, the team will conceptually contribute to the development of guidelines for the improvement and standardization of in vivo experimentation (WP3) and will seek to implement these recommendations directly into testing (WP4). We will also contribute to the development of an overall governance structure for the research quality system (WP6), as well as select and/or develop fitting learning materials for the educational platform (WP7).
